Dr. Victor Clay
Senior Pastor
Senior Pastor Victor Clay is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. Pastor Clay has a B.A. in Business Management, an A.A. and B.A. from Carver Baptist Bible College and Institute, and a Master of Divinity in American Church Planting from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He graduated in May 2018 with a D Min Degree from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. His Doctorate thesis was on "Developing a Theological and Practical Training Guide for Intentional Racial Diversity in the Church." He is married to Stephanie and has two children; Tyler and Janessa.
Robert Strong
Assistant Pastor
Pastor Strong, the 7th of 13 siblings, was born in the state of Arkansas in a small town called Holly Grove. He moved to Kansas City at age 7 with his family. Pastor Strong and his wife Carolyn have three daughters and one son. Pastor strong was called into the ministry in 1992. He was ordained in 1998 and completed his Associate's degree at Carver Baptist Bible Institute and Seminary that same year. Pastor Strong has served at DLBM for 25 years as pastor of Evangelism and Discipleship. Pastor Strong worked for City Union Mission for 22 years. He presently serves as a Counselor at shelter KC specializing in addiction recovery.
Marcus Robinson
Trustee
Bro. Marcus Robinson grew up in a rural farming community. He lived in a small town called Homestown, MO, and graduated from North Pemiscot High school with a graduating class of 35. He was the first in his family to go to college. He attended Southeast Missouri University (SEMO) graduating with a bachelor's degree in Education. Bro. Robinson is married to Judy and has been faithfully serving at DLBM for 12 years, presently serving as a trustee.
